Finance/HR/Payroll Assistant
We are looking for an experienced Finance/Payroll Assistant to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance/Payroll requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organisational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.
Senior Accounts Assistant Responsibilities
· Balance and maintain accurate ledgers monthly.
· Daily bank reconciliations
· Preparation of monthly management accounts
· Assist CFO with annual audit
· Assist CFO with annual budget preparation
- Other miscellaneous tasks as reasonably requested by senior management
Payroll/HR responsibilities
· Assist with preparation of monthly commissions
· Prepare monthly payroll on Sage
· Managing Company Pension scheme , enrolling new employees
· Manage company HR system
· Assist CFO/HR with admin tasks relating to HR staff issues.
Requirements for the Senior Accounts/HR Assistant Role
· AAT Qualification level 3 or above
· Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks
· Experience in services related to payroll
· Preferable Sage payroll experience
· Able to work under pressure
· Good verbal and written communication
· Able to multitask including the ability to manage a busy mailbox
· Work well in a team
· Excellent attention to detail
· Good organisational skills and able to prioritise workload
