Orla Rose is a recruitment business specialising in financial services such as brokers, hedge funds, wealth management and fintechs. We support our clients with finding candidates that tick every box, as well as supporting candidates to progress in their careers and find the best role for them. 

Our Managing Director, Billy Millar, began his career in financial services back in 2007, working for a GFI securities in the settlements and middle office team in London. After 5 years, he left the city to focus on sales roles more local to him.

 

In 2015, Billy and his wife welcomed their daughter, Orla Rose, which gave him the incentive to return to London and focus on recruitment with his family and future in mind. He joined a listed global recruitment firm, quickly establishing himself within the financial services team and the London office. Billy has been recognised nationally as the UK’s No.1 Permanent Recruiter in 2020 

 

Forging even better relationships with his clients, Billy went on to being recognised on a global scale being in the top 3% of performers across the world for an unprecedented two years running within the Financial Services niche market.

 

In 2022, Billy took the plunge to go independent and launched Orla Rose Associates, named after his daughter, in order to provide a more personal and tailored experience for his clients. Billy has placed over 400 people in new jobs since 2015.
