Analyst - ISA and Client Accounts
Location: London, UK
A leading financial services business is looking for an experienced Analyst to join its ISA and Client Accounts team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy operational environment, supporting the accurate onboarding and ongoing administration of client accounts. You will play an important role in processing client money activity, maintaining CASS compliance and ensuring ISA administration meets HMRC regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Process and check client payments, receipts and internal transfers across multiple currencies, ensuring intraday deadlines and CASS requirements are met.
Process, check and reconcile market and client FX positions.
Manage the processing and reconciliation of error trades and write-offs.
Reconcile and maintain CASS-related ledger and trade positions within daily deadlines.
Process ISA and Junior ISA subscriptions, including transferred subscriptions and Additional Permitted Subscriptions.
Complete daily ISA stock and cash-control monitoring to ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
Run exception reports and reconciliations, taking appropriate action to prevent regulatory breaches or financial loss.
Support annual HMRC reporting, including ISA statistical and information returns.
Assist with the production and analysis of management information.
Support user acceptance and regression testing to ensure systems remain efficient and compliant.
Work closely with internal teams to resolve operational queries and maintain high service standards.
Skills and Experience
A minimum of two years’ experience within investment operations, client accounts, ISA administration or a related financial-services environment.
Knowledge of ISA regulations, client money processes or CASS requirements would be highly advantageous.
Strong reconciliation and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to use your own initiative.
Good IT skills and experience using relevant financial-services systems.
GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
